Heriz Rug

This small Heriz rug is a very pretty example of a type that is becoming increasingly hard to find. The soft terracotta field is decorated with flowering vases and other stylised floral motifs, and is framed by a lovely mid-blue border of repeating blossoms. It is a verty pretty composition which is enhanced by the use of a striking apple green. All the colours are derived from natural dyes. This is a very decorative rug that would enhance many settings. Minor signs of wear and restoration.
