This is a beautiful little fragment of fine silk brocade work with a very delicate palette reminiscent of the Safavid 'Polonaise' carpets of the early 17th century. A beautiful little study piece. Now mounted on a stretcher with a black background. Size including the stretcher is 69cm x 56cm.
