West Persian Rug

Woven in the Sultanabad district of West Persia, at the end of the 19th century, this rug has a beautiful colour combination. The design is the ubiquitous 'Herati' pattern but it is interpreted in an open way. In addition, the fine weave gives the design a crispness and clarity. This rug has survived in lovely original condition. Professionally cleaned in our own workshop.
