A Pair of Shahsavan Soumac Bags

This handsome pair of Shahsavan soumac bags are complete and in very good original condition. The stylised eagles in the central cartouche are unusual as are some of the other features in the design. The ivory border is also beautifully drawn. Excellent natural dyes have been used which have created a unified and harmonious composition. This is a rare collectors items. The dimensions are 72cm x 68cm, and 67cm x 67cm. The price for the pair is £2600.
