Mid-Century Swedish Kilim Runner
20th century Swedish furniture designers occasionally produced kilim designs to complement their furniture. Here we have a rare example of a runner. One can assume that it was produced as part of a suite of kilims for a contemporaneous furniture scheme. Woven by hand with fine wool, it has lovely subtle colours with a simple but engaging geometric design. Note the monogram in the corner. One can imagine it as a useful decorative addition in many settings today. Professionally cleaned and in very good condition.
